About The Finnish Association for Humane Drug Policy (HPP)
A Finnish non-governmental organization founded in 2001, promoting humane and evidence-based drug policy reform.
The Finnish Association for Humane Drug Policy (HPP) is a non-profit advocacy organization that seeks, through its activities, to reduce the harms caused by substance use to individuals and society. We aim to influence decision-makers, professionals working in the field of substance use, and citizens directly.
The association pursues its goals by relying on the best available evidence of effective measures, while also promoting a constructive and open climate for public discussion. Our work is entirely volunteer-based and carried out without regular funding, primarily supported by membership fees.
