Privacy Notice (Register Description)

Effective from: 26 September 2019

The Finnish Association for Humane Drug Policy (HPP) maintains a personal data register of its members. Access to the association’s personal data registers is limited to the acting Board or a person authorized by the Board.

The membership register contains the information submitted by a member in their membership application, such as name, place of residence, and email address. The register is used to ensure rights related to membership (such as voting rights), to monitor membership fees, and to communicate information about the association’s activities.

The data are removed from the register when membership ends. Data are deleted immediately upon the individual’s request or, at the latest, three years after the termination of membership. Data may be retained in order to continue informing the individual about the association’s activities.

The data are stored in protected databases.

Individuals registered in the database have the right to request access to their personal data, to request correction or deletion of the data, and to exercise other rights guaranteed under personal data protection legislation. Requests concerning the data or requests for rectification must be submitted in writing and signed, and sent to hpp@hppry.fi.

The data are not disclosed to third parties.
